Not a nice morning at all!!!!

I love my garmin - but it was a bit of an extravagant spend......I am sure you will be fine when you go outside - I prefer it to running on the treadmill (except when it is horrid weather like today!).

    :j :j :j

Im back from a running and I did 12 miles :D and *runs and hides* it felt easy this morning

Although after the torrential rain last night I did have to encounter 2 large puddles that actually covered the whole road and when wading through was up to my ankles...not pleasant! Along with constantly having to stop for cars, lorries, tractors, climing along the verge etc and to tie shoe laces up I did it in 2:00.01....dam that 1 second. Although with stoppages I think I could probably cut at least 3-4 mins off that. Im on a high now :D
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

    Great running, Sally.

It loooks like the days of 2-36 half marathon times are well and truly behind you now with this run pointing to something around 2-10.

And 'it felt easy' seems to suggest you have really clicked into a seam of great form.:D :D

Keep it going and you're well on target for FLM!!!

    thanks guys
Actually rich I think without the stoppages and knowing it was a race..and more likely on the flat I could do sub 2:00 :)

    FLM bring it on ...

Happy running for the 20milers today

Hope you're all still enjoying it - but if you need some motivational help then come back and we'll bully you into running more :D

Pepper - I'll do your plan this avo :D
  • Hey everybody, just a wuick check in from me, played a full game of netball this morning, it was a close match and we lost by 2 points. 23-21. My heels are still pretty sore from my 4 mile walk yesterday but I managed to play through the pain.

Now I've got a 30 min personal training session to compete with! Hopefully he will go easy on me!

    Great running Sally and Hypno.

Becky, I look forward to hearing your results!

Afternoon All (Becky saunters in slowly) :D

Soooo an amazing training run - but didnt finish the whole 20 miles - at around 15.5-16 I got the most incredible cramp and couldnt continue which was a shame because it was before tackling that hill for the third time!

Despite this though - I am mega chuffed with myself :D

Longest distance to date on a very tough course, longest time on feet and weekly milage of over 50 miles - all of that on top of yesterdays race means a pretty good running weekend - I should come to Leeds more often ;)

Rich looked as fresh as a daisy when I pulled up though - he was well on for 20 so I did feel slightly guilty about that - until he realised its also the longest time on feet for him as well :D

Happy running everyone - I'm off to massage my feet since I cant stand now :)
