I doubt they are related - I certainly struggled with breathing as much as legs in the first month but wasn't ill with it once I'd finished the run. I'd definitely only walk with the infection though as it will hinder you.0 -
Oooo well done Simply!!!0

Well done on getting into Abingdon Simply :jSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Thanks guys, I won't believe it's me until they've cashed my cheque but it's looking hopeful and means that my training plan won't need revising (it also gives me a few weeks longer to train)

Becky I don't get hot but I feel really light-headed and feel that I need to eat more to keep going during the day, messes up the calories in versus out scenario but at least I can still run.0

Hi evab,
Havent seen you in ages - hope the backs still okay?? Have you been able to get any runs in recently?
Glad to hear its not just me who gets weird body stuff - I get the lightheaded thing too actually - its very annoying!0 -
Hi, I was away for a few days seeing family and friends in my home town.
Back is really good, I still going to the Chiropractor but less often as mending well and no pain at all!
I'm running, I did 3 miles in a steady but not brilliant 30 mins today, I've got the Race for Life in Rhyl in 3 weeks time so I want to get some speed work in as my pb is 28:30 for the 5km so I definitely want to improve on that. It's a flat course along the seafront so a quick time is achievable.
Lightheadedness (that is a word - honest) has improved since I had one of those implants put in. Sorry guys but these things are important for us ladies. :-)0 -
Ooh very excited found a great website listing plenty of runs in Wales for me and hubbie to do - Snowdon Marathon anyone?0
