Good luck tomorrow, Hypno.:D
You need a good long warm up to get your muscles working again after a marathon.

Evening all.....oldies and newbies alike!
tomorrow is my Race for Life - it will be interesting to see what my legs can produce after the marathon.........I am hoping for 27 mins ish, but will just see how it goes.
I have four black toe nails after last weekend - they are a little uncomfortable, so hope they don't give me too much grief when I am running tomorrow.
Will report back when I am done!
Good luck Hypno in your RFL....I will be waiting for your time with interest. I did a 10k yesterday but slowly, and this week my knees didn't hurt! Last week must have been a one off....taking OH out for a 5k today (if I can get him out of the door) so hoping weather is still as nice...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Beautiful Sunny day here and I am taking DD (3) to a 1 mile fun run (trying to get her interested early on) so looking forward to a nice very slow if almost walk today. Back into some kind of running schedule next week
Good luck today Hypno, can't wait to hear your results! Happy running everyone elseI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Sammy - glad to read that your knees were fine! I am running at 3.30, so won't be back until 5 or 6, but will report in then! DD and my student are also running, so we will be having a mini race between us too! Although DD is the favourite to win.....
Sally, enjoy your "run" with DD! My two did their first fun run in a wheelbarrow being pushed around by my Dad.........
Uk, I am sure you will enjoy your 15 miles - it is perfect running conditions out there! (well, it is here, anyway!). Good luck!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Thanks for the info on the NF Marathon Rich; I'll drop Becky an email when she's back but in the meantime will continue with the plan 'as is'.
Hope your legs are ok for the RFL Hypno - it will be interesting to see how you go so soon after the FLM.
Sammy - good to see that the knees were ok yesterday; it must have been a bit worrying last week. I don't know about you but I'm still at the stage where I worry about every ache and niggle in case it means I can't run any more. It's a lack of experience I suppose?

Glad you said that Rich - I've done just under 250 in mine and don't want to have to be paying out for a new pair yet. :eek:2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -
well that was insteresting
The first 9.5m went as plan....then got stuck at tower bridge as they decided to lift it to let an invisble boat through so i was stuck there for 10 mins... then took a wrong turn somewhere so ended up on a little de-tour... then as i was at about 13.5m i seen some guy haveing a job to keep on his push bike in a stright line, so anyway he made about 200 meters before he decided to fall off and have a sleep in the Bus lane at 8.30am anyway I wasted about 5mins with this chap ended up dragging him to the pavement with the help of some other guy, in which time he had fell back to sleep.....
So anyway............. all in all 15.47miles in 2hr 20mins i hope for a smoother long run next week :rotfl:.Cabbage Patch 09 - 10m - 1hr 06mLeicester 09 -1/2 - 1h 26m0
