Hmmmm, North Pole Marathon. I don't think you'd get too many charity or celebrity runners taking up that challenge. What's the entry fee going to be Uk?? :snow_laug:snow_laug2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910

Week2 (Abingdon)
Mon27/4 Rest Day
Tues28/4 Rest Day
Weds29/4 14.0 Miles 1:49:14 (7:48/mile) (Pulse108)
Thurs30/4 10.0 Miles Fartlek 1:15:39 (7:34/mile) (Pulse 100)
The plan today was to do a 40x200 interval session but it became impractical to do it as planned. So the next best option was employed....a 10 mile fartlek with the middle 6 miles used for a series of hard 45 second efforts.
It felt good especially considering last night's run so I can safely say that the marathon is now out of the legs.:D:D:DGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Hello. Haven't been well for the last few days but went out for a 1.5 mile walk followed by a half mile run. It felt good. A little niggle in the shin but not as bad as other days. The 1.5 mile walk must of warmed up the legs.
I believe that the London Marathon places should be best for age. However, some of the charity runners were quite fit despite the time taken especially those in elaborate costumes.0 -
First run last night in 2 weeks, 3miles was hard work.
Could start to feel the weight going back on over my chest area & lower stomach. Will push out 6 or more miles over the weekend.
