Im thinking about doing the Bristol Half again Becky, I really enjoyed it last year (despite being under prepared and feeling dog awful after!) Would love to see what time I could do this year after last years laughable 2:36
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Bristol half looks good this year because of the timing and I get free accoms and delivery to the start (known as the hotel of mum and dad and taxi service of dad)

I'll be aiming for 1:25ish I think - I have three options to get into FLM for next year - run sub 3:45 this time or run a sub 3:15 this year (i.e. Abingdon) or run a sub 1:30 half this year - since Bristol is so flat (or at least the course is) that and fleetwood look good options for that half target :D:D

What would you aim for do you think?

(Also my pics are not pretty - remember my in pain Brighton ones  - I never shower before a race either so go with total bed hair :p)

Ok, that would be the GNR out of the question for now, might see what comes up.

Ive looked at that list Becky, its very full and hard to read.

Just picking out a few local runs for the next few months, unsure if im about and not on a airshow.

Well Robin Hood is a reasonable run in Nottingham - its a bit hilly for a half but should quite good fun - it costs £27.50 so not too bad and is on the 13th September :D

I think I would like to aim for around 2 hours but if I could dip under 2 hours would be over the moon!

Sub 2 should be doable with the amount of training your doing now - i.e. you wouldnt have to add much more on and your long runs would only need to be about 16-18 miles, but you'd have to add some bouts of speedwork and also some long runs leading into races i.e. run a 10 mile warm up then do a 10k race and not worry about the time...
