Okay panic over - had a thought - the championship dates are way later (like January) and you can use a half for those results - so if I dont make 3:45 this time in London - I will just concentrate on a sub 3:15 (or sub 1:30 half) at Abingdon instead and use that time or a later half time to qualify in the championship - just have to find a club to join a week before the race
And ideas what you are going to do Rich??0 -
my word you guys have been busy! i'm very impressed! :j
my chest finally seems to have cleared up, so after my week off last week i will be heading to the gym tonight. Really looking forward to goin, was practically itching to put my trainers on at the weekend, but forced myself to resist and have a lie down instead, lol.
Unfortunately i haven't managed to stay off the fags, but i have significantly cut down from what i used to smoke, and i did manage a whole week with none whatsoever so thats something atleast.Debt@LBM1=£4050 1st DFD 27/08/09Debt @LBM2 =£14,469.97 2nd DFD 14/03/2018 :T

It looks like it going to be really funny as if you come in fancy dress ( Chicken Suits) you only have to pay halve the entry fee.
You get a medal hat and bright yellow t-shirt( chicken themed).

At least they responded, so thats good.
I'd actually forgotten about the championship route. So initial thoughts are to have a real crack at 2-45 in Fleetwood, then Abingdon and then, if necessary, theres still time for a third attempt.:D
But more interesting than that is the 1-15 half marathon route....can have loads of attempts at that.:D:D
Failing that I'll borrow JJs chicken suit - should wing it then in an eggcellent time.:pGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
Blackpool Marathon 11/4/2010 (Target=2:59:59) (6:52/mile)
Abingdon Marathon 17/10/2010, (Target=2:48:57) (6:27/mile)

Okay I've formulated my plan - fleetwood for a sub 1:30 half, then a go at Abingdon for sub 3:15, but if I feel good I may just go for the whole at Fleetwood - but I guess it depends on what happens in 18 days time, if I run 3:45 I'll prob still do both anyway and have a crack at the championships
