Glad to hear the tests were normal Chick :D

Some great running there Simply :D Dont worry about feeling tired - you'll find more of that as you build the miles up - sometimes it takes longer to get warmed up or feels harder work than usual.

Good luck in the races :D

Its funny about watching it and getting excited - I've always hated that sunday as there's nothing on tv for hours - just proves how little I was into running until recently ;)

I still cant find out if there is a live track online service - i can only see the text one which is fine for peeps in the UK but not so good for all my Canadian friends - maybe one of us will have to text get the url and forward it to them hmmmm

There really should be - the guys selling the service would surely want FLM as a client, even as a loss leader.

All will become clearer as the race approaches I'm sure.

Btw it appears that the guy who collapsed at Blackpool yesterday and went into cardiac arrest is okay, probably due to the speedy arrival of medical assistance and oxygen.

Going to look for a new route for tonight - ho hum the whole of Westminster appears to be closed!!!

Good news about that guy - it was pretty speedy assistance - and i'm sure one of the guys working on him was another runner rather than a medic - pretty good that someone gave up their race to help him :D

Yep, it was a big thing to give up his race, but I would imagine he didn't even consciously think about it - if you're trained to do that sort of thing there is probably an automatic response.

And just think how he must feel now, knowing that he was probably the key factor in saving someone's life!

Hehe Trust you to sniff out the free alcohol!:p:p

JJ - nice one, an international marathon funded by work, sounds great to me. So I was a little out geographically with my guess at Lincolnshire then!:o

I know - I was going to stop but had to run through the thing of - there are already people there who actually know what they are doing and you dont so actually you're better carrying on!! But it was very upsetting not to stop for me!

Hehe I love my free stuff :D Although beers isnt really my bag - hopefully there will be free wine - its practically on my walk home anyway :D

JJ - thats soooo cool - a few friends of mine love Ohio - apparently it rocks re: sightseeing and friendliness of the locals - you'll have a great time :D
