Um excuse me according to the map my run for 8 miles its an elevation change of 410 ft ascent and 410ft descent - I'd say that was quite a big hill and I'll be doing it 3 times!:eek::eek:
We'll believe it when we see the data
Anyway, just got back from today's lunchtime run: 8.5 miles, 1:14:02, which I wasn't too displeased with. Should have had a minute off that, but the last half mile was *ridiculously* slippy, slowed me down a lot (and left a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth once I was back)0 -
I am glad that I will be for the most part descending in the Edinburgh Marathon. That is no excuse for me not to put in the hill work in training though. I quite like it - I know that I am working

Right, fed up of watching you lot doing loads of miles and worried about the fact that time is ticking by.......I have got my trainers on, and am about to give my feet a test around the block.......I will report back, if I am still walking, in a bit!
Wish me luck :eek:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
