Hi Hayley - hope the ankle gets better soon! We do miss your cheery face around (I love your avvie
)
the ankle is starting to fix itself, did have a session with the osteopath at work who was stumped by my ankle as he couldnt find anything wrong that would have caused the problen, he thought that he may due to the fact that the muscle on the inside of my right knee is a lot tighter than on my left so i could have been overcompensating on the left side.:beer:0 -
Becks sorry to hear that, do you have any idea how long you could be out of action for?
Ok, time for a confession, prepared for my run which involves the usual visit to the toilet for a number 1 and 2......
Off I run, after four miles I have a mid run explosion.....If you know what I mean........
I had to stop and come home, running with a soggy behind is not what I call fun!!!!0 -
Poor you Rusty - I think poor had a similar thing once where she was happy she was wearing dark trousers!!!
Um no idea yet - off to Docs tomorrow and will then have to wait while they order a bone scan (x rays wont do apparently) - which can be up to two weeks - but lets put it this way - if its confirmed as a fracture London is out pretty much, if its shin splints then it may or may not be depending on how serious it is - waaaaaaa0 -
sorry to hear you'r out of action becky, that must be very frustrating for you, let us know how things go:beer:0

Arghhhhh have just spoken to one of the surgeons here and they concur with my inital fear - stress fracture
I'm booked in with the doctors tomorrow at 5.15 for a referral to MRI/xray...
(Off to cry in a corner now)
Oh, bad luck Becky, hope they can get this sorted quickly for you. Very frustrating.
Ooh, Rusty, I've had stomach pains a few times when running - you've got me worried now. Mid-run explosions :eek:2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -

Sorry to read of pains and explosions.......
I didn't run either today. My old car accident injury spasms from time to time and has chosen today to make an appearance. So I am glad I did a few miles yesterday instead, and hopefully with some rest and a handful of drugs, I will be out running again tomorrow.
