What a wonderful morning to be out running (sorry to all those laid up with injuries:o ).

It really felt like a London Marathon morning today with bright sunshine and a little nip in the air, early morning mist lifting as the run progressed.

And a whole six months of this sort of weather ahead of us to train for Abingdon - now I remember why running is soooo addictive!!:D :D:D

It's okay, in 3 weeks when the niggly injury is nothing but a distant memory, you'll be getting excited about your imminent marathon debut in London.

Meanwhile I'll be on enforced rest duties feeling very, very jealous.....so it all evens out. :D:D

:cry:Arghhhhh have just spoken to one of the surgeons here and they concur with my inital fear - stress fracture :(

I'm booked in with the doctors tomorrow at 5.15 for a referral to MRI/xray...

(Off to cry in a corner now)

Well considering they are the worlds leading bone and joint surgeons I'm inclined to believe what they say...apparently the lump on the tiba and the yelping when they press it gives it away :(

Awww sorry you're ill Uk - too much dreaming of greek massages ;)

Sorry to hear about your problems, becky - hope they can be resolved quickly.

Anyway, to cheer you up, *every* time I've come to this page so far I've read the above as "geek massages" - I keep thinking "I'm a geek, but I don't know how to give massages..." :D
