  • Morning all,
no running for me last night as the morning circuit took more out of me than i thought, but i did do 1.30 hours of ironing if that counts!!LOL

The circuit yesterday went like this:-

4 stations each with 4 exercies on each station,
doing 15 reps on each exercise,
after each exercise run around the gym, doing a lap onto the next station,
once completed the first exercises on each station start again, doing numbers 1 and 2 together, then 1,2,3 and then 1,2,3,4 on each station.
    The erercise were as follows:-

ARMS - Pressups, Bicep curls, Tricep dips and Chest press

ABS - Situps, Leg lifts, V-sits and Plank

LEGS - Burpees, Step ups, Squats and Squat thrusts

BACK - Superman, B-52`s, Hip raises and Dorsal raise

    Happy running all

An hour and a half of ironing would have wiped me out, JJ, so you have my respect there!!!

It was nice to do an early morning run completely in the light (starting at 7am), so that could be pretty much the end of dark early morning running until maybe October now. What a cheery thought!:D :D

Thank you chickadee, I am actually really looking forward to it! I did 15 on my own last week (with lots of podcasts) but I'm running very slowly with a friend tomorrow. I hope it will be good. What are you training for?

Hi FMN, I'm doing the Prague Marathon in May. I didn't get into London so I found one at a similar time of year so I can train with you guys and a women's running group I run with. I don't mind running alone but the long runs go much more quickly when there are others to chat to. ;)

Went out this morning for a 10k. It was lovely, as Rich said, to run in the morning and it be light not only when you get back, but when you set off! 59 mins this morning, but I wanted a nice gentle run and that included ipod faffing time :o . I'm still not a natural early-morning runner. I think I only woke up at about 3 miles. I did feel brilliant by the time I got home though, and was more than ready for my big bowl of porridge. (Why did it take me 41 years to discover porridge? )

When I got into the office my shiny new Garmin was waiting for me. I explained to a couple of people what it is and what it does. They just glazed over....Oh well. I have been wanting one for ages and decided to treat myself to one. I'll have to spend a couple of hours getting to know it tonight. Can't wait to get out on a run with it.

Great running everyone. Hypno - you must be sooooo relieved that the new trainers are OK. There'll be no stopping you now!
