            Shocking UK ! !
Did an easy 8 this evening and a 2 mile walk - the thighs are still stiff so I was worried about aggravating the tendon by running on too tired muscles - hence the switch down to walking at the end - no pain though so all good
 Happy running all!0

Evening all; it's nice to see that you are all still so motivated. Isn't it nicer running in mild dry weather rather than sleet and snow???
I went out after work this evening and ran 4.27 miles in 45.31; I really enjoyed it too!!!!
I'm going to walk tomorrow, run 4 miles again on Thursday and then have 2 rest days. My plan then is to run my first 10k distance on Sunday.
Ooh, and 'hello' to the new peeps who have joined this week; I hope you're enjoying your running 2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910

 Tues24/2 10K 53:38 (8:39/mile) (Pulse 94)
 Tues24/2 3 x 1 Mile (6:02, 5:51, 5:49) (Avge 5:54) (Pulse 122)
Just had another of those 'WOW' moments!:D
The high mileage has started to translate into speed well and truly now, and boy did it feel good!
Learning from last week I put an additional warm up mile in at 7:04 to try to get some more elasticity into the muscles. It worked perfectly!
So this was easily the best interval session so far with an average of 5:54 (previous best 6:12) and a fastest mile of 5:49 (previous best 5:59).
Well done on tonight's runs Ukevas, Becky and Simply! It looks like everyone is heading in the right direction!:D Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

            Hey everyone,
I'm checking in cos I haven't done so in a few weeks! I've started a new job, and I also have new hours which is screwing me up a bit. I don't get home untill 5 now, whereas before it used to be half past 3!
I've managed to work around it, been keeping to my plan as best I can. The walks are now causing no pain to my heels at all which is good progress!
Good to read that all of you are doing well :T0
