very much a run of two halfs. the first i had a female runner with a nice bum in front which made me keep good pace..

the second half this was replaced with a dude with hairy man legs  ... needless to say this made the pace back off some what...:rotfl:

Nothing really to report today apart from 'circuits'..

Then registered online for the Lincoln 10k road race - 29th March 09.

Best push them 5miles to 6.4miles to make the 10k :)

I can imagine myself being one of the last to finish, but its a 10k fun run, not a road race.

The super caution applied to last week's runs has now given way to just enjoying letting it flow. It seems that the increase in mileage has now been accepted by the body and it seems keen to push on. So who am I to argue?:D :D

So 40.5 miles so far this week with another 54.5 to come if all goes to plan.

Ukevas - My pace is often affected by such things!;)

Alias - Good luck with the 10K build up, always nice to have a focus!

I took my kit with me, to go for my usual 8-10 miles while the children are at karate....but I was just too tired. So, kit stayed firmly in the bag, and I didn't do anything.

    Ho hum......tomorrow is another day!

    Evening All,

Had a super tough day, feel pretty rubbish got home at 8:30 and dragged myself out for a 4 miler - did one of those miles in 7:40... the aim was to do a full interval session but legs were a bit achey and just generally feel emotionally exhausted so ended up doing one fast mile in between some slow ones to help ease out the muscles for a full interval session tomorrow.

Glad the trainers are good Hypno and some good running going on here guys - well done :D

Off to bed now to re-charge for intervals in the morning hopefully...

Becky, sorry to hear you are feeling a bit low. Hope you wake up feeling re-charged and ready to go.

Hypno - don't worry. Sometimes when your body says 'I'm tired' there isn't anything you can do about it. Have a good rest hun.

Was looking forward to playing with my new toy tonight, but forgot it would need an initial charge before use. Doh! Should have charged it today at work. Never mind, I'll give it its first outing with the ladies tomorrow.

    Morning All!

Woke up to find my old trainers had lost the heel in my run last night...no wonder it felt like such hard work :(

So anyway did an easy 4.5 in my new trainers and they are feeling a lot more comfy so going to try for another 10 miler tonight (I know it isnt speedwork sorry coachie), looking forward to the 5k on Saturday though.

    Happy running all! :D

2 months today until FLM

I have had a stroke of luck - I don't run on a Thursday because I have a business meeting in the evening, but today it has been cancelled! So, I can make up for missing last night's run quite easily!

I hope to do about 8 miles.......will report back later this evening.

    Happy running all!
