They were in evans last month went crazy & bought 4 different pairs , told my oh I've bought £26 worth of tights , he was calm but obviously a bit surprised & went really? And I was like yes but they are for the wedding they are special bridal tights (his eyebrows were doing a wee dance by this time) and I then revealed it was ok because I only paid 40p for the 4 pairs. He says he loves me a wee bit more for every mad bargain I get lol.

    Hello :)

Bluemeanie - They have thos in Confetti - Im thinking of getting them myself. Basically you get a blank CD and a card that asks the guest to put their photos on them and send it to you. I think I prefer these to disposable cameras because sometimes the quality isnt so great with those. Hang on, let me see if I can find a link:

    http://www.confetti.co.uk/product/view/68618-8558-0-ivory_gold_blank_cds___holder_pk_of_10.do?

thanks for that link Sammy  Makro are doing a deal from today - 50 blank DVD's for about £9 so its just getting cheapish envelopes now :D
Got married on 1st August

thank you to everyone on the weddings and anniversary forum xxx

Wow, that is a bargain :T Wish I was a member of Makro :(

I'll have a think where you can get cheapish enveloppes. I suppose they're a bit of a funny size - more square. Hmmmm......

Ebay can be a good place for envelopes...you might be able to find them in a colour to match the wedding stuff too....

Well I did probably my best Money saving today and took the morning off work to go and check out these 1p bazaar things at m & s as I had decided if the jewellery was nice I could use it for my BMs so I took my sister along so I would be able to get 2 of the sets as your only allowed 1 per customer and paid for her bus fare etc
I told her to get whatever she wanted as long as one thing was a jewellery set and while in the queue pointed out the one I liked. I got mine and after we had been to a few other shops I asked her what she had got and she said she couldnt remember and I said oh well at least you have the jewellary to which she responded 'I never got one...I thought you were getting them! lol. Useless. lol

Bad news about M&S Val. That does sound like the kind of thing my sis would do too. Can you go back tomorrow to see if you can pick up another one?

No wedding update from me. Had a hugely hectic day at work today and am severely tempted to call in sick tomorrow, but I know I'll feel too guilty and won't :( My usual trick would be to skive off for the afternoon and "go see a Client" but now they've put a tracker in my car so that one doesn't work quite as well nowadays :o

So what's everyone's plans for the Bank Hol weekend? I need to prep my garden for the pre-wedding photos. Need to crazy pave the left side of my garden as it's just grown into a mass of weeds and crap. I think I know what to do - I have the crazy paving slabs. Just need some concrete and the know-how lol. Oh well, trial and error I guess :)
