Hey Val, what a kind offer, you are a sweetheart. I'd like them in the red, i'll double check sizes but I need on in a 2 in a 14, one in a 16 and probably one in an 18 but those are just guesses. I'll check with my girls and update when I know for sure.

    SK x

Ok, no problems, plus its a good excuse for me to go into Primark and have a nosey myself :D any excuse. lol. I might even treat myself to a trip to manchester so will check in that one for you too.

This evening we bought our Tesco cakes as the BB date was finally after the wedding! Best bit is they were FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE as we used our Tesco points to buy them, and the ribbon (including personalised ribbon) cost about £4!

I'm really pleased with how they look with the ribbon on, will put some pics up next week when I've done them properly :D

    Evening Girls,

Sounds like planning is going well.

Sexki11en, do you have a link for the dresses as I'll have a nose in Primark down here on the weekend for you. I have to go in there on a hunt for leopard print clothes for the hen do

Does anyone else find themselves critiquing other family wedding stuff. We got an invite for cousin's wedding today which was nice, but the first thing I thought was "oh no, I much prefer our invites"!!! Oh how awful am I???? H2B had to remind me not to be such a cow lol. I don't mean to be mean but I can't seem to help it at the mo.

Got a RSVP today from cousin and his fiancee. They're getting married a couple of weeks before us and my mum had assumed that H2B and I were invited. But they got an invite the other week and H2B and I aren't actually invited lol. I wouldn't mind but we must have sent our invites out at the same time as I sent them one for our wedding. Anyway, they've only gone and accepted our invitation lol. Again, I really don't mean to sound like a cow but as my dear old dad said "cheeky buggars" lol.

Well no more updates from me. I really need to get our rings sorted. What ring is everyone's H2B having? Mine really doesn't seem to give a crap lol.

Mine was dead particular about his - rose gold, 6mm, D shaped band :rotfl:

I'd join in the Primark dress hunt but ours has about 10 things in and they're all on the floor!

This is my cake- the rough version of the middle tier (complete with bumps and the like) but you can get the idea, there's the other two tiers and the little people to go on top, and the icing under the ribbon needs smoothing properly so will post more pics in the week

lol, Im not officially allowed in Primark as OH says its all just cheap rubbish, such a snob

My OH is having a tungsten carbide ring which cost about £45,not bad when you conside mine was about £580  lol.

I know what you mean about other weddings too, we got an invitation from OHs friend and and all I could think was how similar it was to mine, doesnt help that I dont like her either, think Ive mentioned this before but she is the one who sent him a buch of messages saying she was naked in bed and did he want to come join her and this was only a few months ago
Sorry for not putting anyones names on the answers but my space bar is broken on my laptop and its driving me mad

 I don't remember you saying that Val. My lord - what a silly girl. Does her H2B know????

Gosh, you all seem sure what rings your H2B's are having. I think I may have to take mine ring shopping. Something he'll find as enjoyable as he does going to Primark lol

Blonde, ooh I like the cake. So are you having 3 tiers? Are you decorating it yourself or does it come decorated? Thats another thing I need to sort out - the cake. Paid the lady £50 deposit months ago and haven't heard a dicky since.

No I dont think he knows but to be honest I dont think he would care, all my OH said was.... oh,thats just her, she was only joking. like it was ok, no bother anyway, hardly ever have to see her anyway.

My OH just wanted a cheap ring that wasnt too girly and was quite strong, ours are already bought and paid for too :D just waiting for them to be made
