wonder if anyone is doing this or can help us in anyway
even though we have now got a professional photographer, we would still love to have copies of the pictures all our guests take. what we wanted to do was have blank cd's or dvd's on tables but put them in a special envelope with a poem on them (hopefully you know what i mean)
as anyone got or know of any sites that give suggestions for the poem??
thanks in advance xGot married on 1st August
thank you to everyone on the weddings and anniversary forum xxx

Hi bluemeanie999,
were doing this as well minus the poem.lol, Im just to put some stamped envelopes with them and a little note. Also going to put disposable cameras out aswell.
Hi sexki11en,
I went into Primark today but couldnt see the dresses, wasnt much in there to be honest but I will keep looking for you0 -
How is everyone doing? Can't believe how quickly the time is going, before we know it August will be here:eek:
Been having a nightmare with a dress for my dd who is going to be my flower girl. Had to return 2 dresses in the past month as I could tell they will be tight in 3 month's , I emailed Milly who are doing my dress & they have quoted me $55 for the dress and $10 for the added shipping costs which is roughly £43 think that's a reasonable (ok not bargain) price for a flower girl dress for my wee princess.
Bit worried about work I'm getting a new manager next week, & not a soul I've asked has a nice thing to say about this person:eek: even 3 different people who never have a bad word to say about anyone. I've been bullied previously by 2 different managers, and it ended up wrecking my confidence & making me ill with the stress & worry. Well it won't be happening again thats for sure.Booo!!!0 -
Hello
Sexki11en - I had a nose in Primark yesterday and couldn't find the dresses. If I can get up to the big one on Oxford Street I will have a look for you.
Bluemeanie - They have thos in Confetti - Im thinking of getting them myself. Basically you get a blank CD and a card that asks the guest to put their photos on them and send it to you. I think I prefer these to disposable cameras because sometimes the quality isnt so great with those. Hang on, let me see if I can find a link:
http://www.confetti.co.uk/product/view/68618-8558-0-ivory_gold_blank_cds___holder_pk_of_10.do?
Violetta - Don't worry about work. It's not worth getting stressed over. I've always found female managers to be the worse. Just stand your ground from day 1 - don't let her push you around. You'll be fine I'm sure.
Def going to Haton Garden a week Saturday to get my ring sorted. H2B still can't decide what he wants for his ring. He'll be getting a rubber band at this rate.
Is anyone else really excited about their RSVPs??? I love coming home and findng out who's replied!!0 -
Welcome madfrenchgirl :j0

Hi Sammy, Hi everyone else. Thanks Sammy, work's been ok this week, long may it continue. Have ordered my dd's dress , tonight, bit concerned as Milly are saying they are really busy but did say it should be here by end of July:eek: hopefully it will be or there could be trouble. I doub't I'd be able to get a dress in a shop here, oh doesn't bare thinking about. I'm sure our beautiful dresses will be here in plenty of time. I've ordered her's in pink as she is going through a real girly pink phase at the moment, I think that should look nice with the lavender of my dress.
Can't find any shoes I think will go with my dress, so I bought some pretty silver pumps with sequins on them (in a flower design, not covering the whole shoe iykwim) for £7 in shoefayre. Can I get married in £7 shoes?
I am such a pain to get shoes for I have wide feet & can't wear heels , they kill my feet & back. Wish I could though. Silver shoes will look ok with a lavender dress won't they? But if anyone finds something they think will do please give me a shout.
Must get invite's finished & the music sorted out:eek:. so why am I wittering on, on here!!Booo!!!0 -

I didnt actually give a deadline  I was just so eager to get my invitations out, lol. Because we only got engaged at Christmas I didnt see the point in paying out for Save the Date Cards so just sent invitations especially as it is in the summer holidays I didnt want people booking holidays especially as few of our friends incl Best Man are teachers. To be honest my side were all quite prompt its the OHs but I dont know if thats because they have bothered telling him or he just hasnt let me know :rolleyes:0
