Oh my word! Well all my men have been measured up now for suits and the try on came in last week for OH to try and and he looked sooo handsome! I almost filled up and told him how great he looked - to which he responded "well obviously!" - men!

Got a meeting tonight for my wedding video. Will let you know how it goes!

Then I MUST sort out my flowers! After that is sorted I have done most BIG things!

Hi girls,

Thought I would share with you something that really freaked me out. I went shopping at the weekend and wanted to see whether I could still get hold of the 25% off Moss Bros hire voucher in 'Brides' magazine, that had been mentioned- MANY thanks for the tip (nb have been told that one can't use it in conjunction with the 'get the groom free' offer). Had to really persuade OH, as these mags are so over-priced and I have a big pile of them already. Anyway, managed to persuade him to see the bigger picture, but had a nagging doubt that I had bought the magazine before. I knew this wasn't possible though, as I hadn't bought one in over a year. Anyway, got home and what face was staring at me from the top of the pile??

Anyone else think the poor girl's head has been cloned and cut and pasted? Seems like the credit crunch is effecting everything :rotfl:
They even colour match the blusher to the title heading!
Makes you wonder how often they do it. Spooky! I have seen the other side of it a little bit, as my daughter's done a bit of modelling (just to help out a friend in the business, when models don't turn up). Luckily, they haven't done anything like that to her yet- that WOULD be scary. Anyway, thought it would amuse. Other half was looking at the two mags bemused for ages, then said "I definitely fancy this one more!" (this month's). Honestly! :rolleyes:

Feeling a lot happier about things now, although 145 days seems like not much time to do all that needs doing. Yesterday really cheered me up. I'd completely forgotten it was mother's day and OH came in with a posie picked from the garden, a home-made card (with little one's hand print) and pancakes (my favourite). Economical and beautiful too! I've never cried with happiness before. Just call me 'Miss World'!
We must all expect this in August and remember our hankies!

Good Evening Ladies,

My god i'm so ashamed - you're all doing your planing really well and i seem to have come to a standstill. I have so much going on that i seriously need to de-stress.

I had my extensions put in on Friday and they're annoying me already. The lady was late in coming to my house and she didn't leave til 2.30am :eek: And they're still not finished lol. I cant sleep in them and i went to work today with a huge frizzball in a ponytail :rotfl: I did curl them a bit tonight tho - so i think i know how i want it on the day - but i will def let the experts do it - i'm not very good with things like that.

We went to our first wedding this year on Saturday and it was lovely. H2B got all excited about our wedding and he even got emotional when the bride walked down the aisle. He also got completely bladdered and stalked the Father of the Bride at the reception, but thats another story lol

Hope you're all well and please keep up with what you're all doing so well

Just a quick question....

Do you think I'm crazy wanting my welcome drinks to be purple? I figure some food colouring could be popped in with the wine and then poured into glasses. Do you reckon the venue would be happy doing this?

No I don't . you have whatever you want on your day.... its not doing the venue any harm.

Purple welcome drinks sound fun. But do you think the purple food colouring will make everyone's toungue go purple lol

Yes the food colouring may turn people's mouths purple! What about putting blackcurrents or blackberries in the bottom of each glass?

My friend had sparkling wine as welcome drinks and each had a raspberry in the bottom!

Just an idea!

Right ladies, I have to ask this! Is anyone getting a little bored of all the wedding talk??? I don't mean getting bored of your own wedding plans as such I just mean that since the new year I feel like the first thing anyone asks me is "how are the wedding plans?" and I am in danger of becoming a wedding bore!!! It's like last year I went to 5 different weddings and the first thing anyone said to me was "it'll be you next!" - YES I KNOW! I'M UP TO MY BLOOMING ELBOWS IN PLANNING THE THING! Please god tell me that some of you are feeling the same or am i doomed!!!

p.s - I do love my OH very much and am very excited about the wedding itself but the planning is driving me loony!

Lol Neeny, yes!!! Clearly theres nothing else interesting in our lives that people want to talk to us about lol

But I do have days when I really dont wanna talk about it to OH. The overnight accommodation is stressing me out at the mo.

I'm sures its no coincidence that I'm smoking more lol. And i was determined to quit before the wedding!
