OOOHHHH Minxy_Bella how excited are you. Easy to say but do try and relax and enjoy your last day as a Miss. What are you up to today. I'm off to try out a new hairdresser with a view to booking her for my big day, hope she is as lovely as she sounded on the phone.
Just try and chill out a wee bit, good luck for tomorrow I know you'll have an amazing day. x

Haven't updated this for a while, so here's the current running lists!

    Booked Venue - paid £1500
    Booked Registrar
    Booked Music - deposit paid
    Booked Photographer - deposit paid
    Booked Florist - deposit paid
Bought dresses (asapbay and angel club)
    Bought tiara
    Invites have gone out

    Other stuff bought so far:

    Silver sixpences
    Name place holders
    Organza bags for favours
    Cat favour boxes for kids
Silverplated tape measure for Maid of Honour thank you gift (my sis, she knits, so uses tape measures a lot - and she's a jewellery snob, so thought this was best!)
Pocket watches for Groom, Best Man and Father of the Bride

Had quotes for makeup, so will be having a trial at the beginning of July.

Haven't sorted hair yet - we were originally going with someone at the venue, but they've left and they're no longer doing it. I do have someone in mind, but got to email them.

    Still need to sort out:

Jewellery for bride, MoH and BM
Hair accessories for MoH and BM
    Shoes for MoH and BM
    Kilt for FoB
Suit Hire for Groom & Best Man (OH sorting this!)
Rings (I'm hoping to convince OH to get a new ring - he has an engagement ring and said he's happy with this and doesn't want another one  The one I want for myself is reduced to £45, so may just end up getting that for me! (http://www.brooksandbentley.co.uk/pr...y-Diamond-Ring)

    Have I forgotten anything??

Thanks, darling - I'm running around like a blue wotsited fly! Just had nails and eyelash extensions done - off to the venue now then have to go find a lipstick that matches my nail varnish (the girls on the Mac Counter LIED to me!) - then more greeting of friends and family then off to the hairdressers for the bridesmaids! AAARGH!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to just sit and chill but there's too much to be done, alas!:D

    Afternoon All :)

So i'm nearly ready to order my final 4 BM dresses from Landy. I tell you, I've had my fair share of nipple to nipple measurements lol. I should become a professional measuring lady!

Having a family get together with my parents and OH parents Easter weekend. Firstly we're all going to fix the fence in my garden and tidy it up, and then we 're gonna thrash out the guest list and invites  H2B and I kinda know who we want to invite, but then theres also both sets of parents' opinions. I wouldnt mind, but they're not paying for the wedding lol.

Been lookng at Butlins website at the weekend we're going for my hen do - and it seems to be some kind of 90s theme with 911, Lee Ryan, Toby Ansts etc :rotfl: It'll be just like when we used to go to Ritzys when I was 18 :D

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend

I am supposed to be in major panic mode (considering I have done practically nothing since xmas for the wedding)...BUT i'm not really very worried haha. Should I be? I have tons to do.

ps. Hello twin...stick around will ya?!!

Sorry twin, will be on here a lot over the next few weeks - am having an op on my foot on 17 April followed by 6 weeks off work - you'll be sick of me :rotfl: Will be able to spend all day every day either on the internet or trying to get ahead with my OU assignments so I'm not sitting on the beach poring over books on European Identity - oh how romantic!

ps - don't worry, 4 months is plenty long enough to get everything you need to do done! x

Some of you are very organised - I hadn't even thought about timings for the day yet. Suppose it will go something along these lines...

11.30am Friend will pick me up and take me for lunch and a relaxing pint (OH is going to play golf apparently, so I may as well do something fun!)

1.30pm start getting ready, loads of time to sort out any disasters then! Photographer arrives.
2.30pm get bridesmaids ready, touch up my makeup, put veil in.
    3.50pm leave home
    4.00pm ceremony starts

    5.00pm ceremony ends, photos start

We thought we'd do photos backwards - start with big group shots and work down to just the two of us. That way guests can head over to the reception and get themselves a beer!

5.45-6.00pm walk over to the reception

6.15pm - speeches, get them done early so everyone can enjoy themselves and not fret!

6.45pm -7.00pm cut cake, first dance, get the disco on and open the buffet. Get some food into people before they get too drunk!

    Something like that anyway!
