You get £60.50 on IS.
You'll need to claim tax credits too if you havent already.0 -
Is that in total per week?? for both children and i?? What does CTC pay per week then for 2 children??
Does IS still supply milk tokens??:j Life is what you make of it, live each day to the full:j0 -
Thats in total per week.
CTC will pay somewhere around £90 I think.0 -
If you have no other income in the tax year other than your IS, then CTC will pay £52.59 per child as I understand it (that's the same as the rate if you have an old IS claim with the money for the children also coming that route). But if you've had a job for part of the year it will be based on that as well !!
£10 maintainance will be ignored for IS, but not sure about CTC or LHA/CT.Cheryl0 -

Very true i guess ( those with any pride would i guess ) I understand paying low amounts to single people on JSA as its an incentive for them to look for work, but for people with children (especially ones under the age of three ) i dont understand it as for example i am breastfeeding so therefore i cant really go back to work until this has finished. My daughter who is 5 years old i worked from when she was 5 months old until i fell pregnant with my 2nd (who is now 6 months old)
I mean nappies alone is £10.00 per week!!! At lease we are lucky enough to have a benefits system, just seems like a very small amount:j Life is what you make of it, live each day to the full:j0 -
you also have your £32.20 per week to use for nappies
plus your CTC for 2 kids and your IS.0 -
