I would be upset if I were you too!
One of my friends has the same attitude and needless to say, I set her straight on a few things.2019 Wins

Hey LM,
Sorry I haven't replied earlier, been a long night out! You know if ever you want to message me on FB, I'm happy to listen.
Please don't ever think that you are letting down your OH. One thing that is very clear is that he absolutely adores you, and I would say he is pretty proud of you too.
I know it is sh*tty when things get bad again, I'm hitting that stage at the mo too. It might not seem like it now, but you have come so far in the past year, you have done so well ... and you have done it all yourself.
Hi to everyone else, am still avoiding thinking about anything vaguely bad - if I don't talk about it, it doesn't exist, right?

Hi LM - welcome! I think the advice about including your oh's sister in Xmassy stuff is a really good idea, theres stuff like ice skating and the continental markets and stuff liek that at this time of year.
planning for the future is a way i help myself cope with stressful times. maybe you could have a moving out box or something? when you see owt you might need in the future in the pound shops etc. you could get it and put it in the box and you could also have a moving out change pot etc. for saving to move out?0 -
messed up- that is so incredibly annoying isnt it?! im sorry0

Just a quick reply. If this happens and you get logged out of MSE, e.g. it takes you back to the log-in page, log back in. If your computer is like mine, you are then faced with a blank page (and the word 'done' on the bottom bar). If you then hit the 'back' button, you'll be taken back to the 'log-in' page - BUT - hit the 'back' button again and you should be back at the page with your reply in the purple box. Hit 'submit' and your post should appear on the page, same as normal, fine and dandy.
This is one of the things I found out by playing about one day when I was similarly p***ed off by the same thing happening.
I hope everyone else is having a good weekend, I'm having one of those days where I can't think straight - hence it has taken me ages to write this reply.
Take care everyone :hello:
P.S. The above makes sense to me - but if it doesn't to you, please let me know and I'll try and explain it a bit better. Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

Hi Guys,
Im feeling really low in mood right now. Its been really bad these past two weeks. Today I have absolutely no motivation to do anything and usually I can force myself but not today...I have reached an all time low. I have a complex and ongoing physical conditions which have really taken their toll this year. I have lots going on with that and am currently fighting to get ill health retirement. I also have four lazy and self centred kids who do little to help but who expect everything still to happen. I feel so hopeless today like there is no light in the world...no pleasure or joy...just burden and I want to run. I was assessed by psychiatrist a few months ago who felt that I was not depressed but had low mood and anxiety (on top of everything else). He felt that antidepressants wouldnt help cos of the interactions with my other drugs. he referred me for psychology but they said no I dont fit their criteria. So I got no support. Today I am seriously worried about my mental health. Dont know what to to.

Hey Molly,
Sorry to hear you are having such a bad time. The mental health system tends to put people into boxes, and if we don't fit into one of those boxes, we don't get the help we need. Perhaps you could go to your GP again and ask what other options are available to you? They may be able to refer you to a CPN who can suggest some alternative avenues.
You mentioned that your mood has become worse in the past two weeks, do you think the clock changes have had a negative effect? If so, there are some things you can do to help - I'll find you some links if you need me to.
Keep talking hun, we are listening.Gone ... or have I?0 -
Hi Molly- I totally agree with dmg on the boxes thing! im currently being moved from one to another and my amount of support has shifted from 5 people to 0!
Would you be able to go to your docs and explain how much worse you are feeling? If you think you might foregt anythign or get upset/ tonguetied, you can write it down and just hand it to her/ him perhaps?0 -
Hi,
Thanks for your support. Yes i do think the change in the clocks has not helped. I have got a SAD lamp which I use intermittently...its difficult because I am photophobic. I have a GP appointment on Thursday. A lot has happened in the past two weeks and i think its got on top of me. I have just got out for a scoot on my scooter and feel better for it. I concentrated on the lovely colours of the trees and my dogs antics. I feel better for sharing.
Thanx
