xXMessedUpXx and Atomised - I hope you are feeling a little brighter today - thinking of you both ;).

dmg24 - I was dxd with hypothyroidism a few months back - but still struggling with getting the dosage right. I'm not as freezing cold as I was and can manage to keep a bit more alert, but can't tell if some things are a) symptoms; b) side effects or c) menopause .

Black Paw - I hope you're over the worst of the shock now and that the weekend is a boost for you.

Crazy-Girl - I was up mega early this morning to get to the doc's for 8.30 and now I am flagging. I can't give in though as I'm back at the hospital at 3 pm.

UnluckyT and Annie Cardiff - I hope you've gone quiet because you are both feeling better?

I don't think I've missed anyone this time :T so be as well and positive as you can be and take care.

I had a really rotten time at the hospital tbh. I was left standing in reception, on crutches for 25 minutes. The first ten, no one was on the reception desk , then when she arrived I explained clearly who I had come to see (I had a packet to return to the same person as well). She said she would bleep the person concerned. At no point did she suggest that I go and sit somewhere and that she'd tell this person where I was. At the end of 25 minutes I had really had enough, told her I was leaving the package, on the off-chance the person ever turned up to collect it, then I left.

I got home just as a message was being left on my answering machine. The person I had been meant to meet had not been bleeped and she had a witness to confirm she had been sitting waiting for me (in a room she had booked) to arrive. It would have been a stressful appointment had it actually taken place - but with the extra wind-up . I didn't so much leave in anger, as in danger of bursting into tears.

Libraries are great places and I only wish there was parking near to ours. There used to be a disabled parking bay directly outside, but our council in it's wisdom changed it to a loading bay .

What the heck - tomorrow is another day :D.

Keep your chins up people :T.

  • my sister has really upset me today! she is looking for a job but refuses to claim job seekers coz she said too many people are on benefits they dont need and they put on thinhgs like depression to get them coz it cant be proved then she contradicts herself saying she can understand why employers dont employ mentally ill people as they might phone in sick too often!

    Hey guys.

New to this thread. I usually post in the support thread on the beauty board but my posts there have been sporadic as of late.

I'm really struggling at the moment. I live with OH, his parents and his 15 year old sister. His sister keeps having sly digs at me and when she isn't being !!!!!y to me, she ignores me. I'm always nice to her and say hey around the house and generally try to be the nice person I am.
I know it must be hard for her having her brother's fiance around and her youth worker says that they used to do everything together and that I should cut her some slack. Well, there's not really any slack to cut as even though she's !!!!!y to me, I don't and won't retaliate. OH says that before I came along, they didn't really used to do anything together. I'm trying to see things from her point of view but deep down she just has an overall snidey and !!!!!y attitude.

It's got to the point now where it's upsetting me so much. She's making me want to move out asap, even though OH's parents are very welcoming.

I just can't put up with it anymore. I feel like I'm about to have another nervous breakdown and the last time that happened I ended up in a psych unit.

I have an appointment with my CPN later this month and he's generally a nice guy. I can talk to him easier than I've been able to talk to previous ones.

I'm just so on edge and anxious lately and I just need something to calm me down.
When I'm sad I feel like I've let OH down. :(
