Just found out something, I didn't want to know, found out where my abuser lives, were he works, his email address.... The past is coming, back to haunt me..... I swear it is....

I am 90% sure it is him..... As soon as I think I can get my life on track, it just moves right back to how it was before....

When I am in the house, I am all sad, and stuff, but when I am out I portray that I am happy etc, but that's not the case.... Gah........ I am just confussed....

I too have suffered abuse , physical /mental /sexual..this is where alot of my anxiety comes from.
when i was abused i just put up with it , years of puttin up with it and gettin on with life as lead my body unable to realease adrenaline , my body has been taught to suppress it ( not fight back) so every now and again my body explodes into a panic attack and the annoyin thing is it is often when i'm relaxed , when i least expect it !

DON'T YA JUST LOVE LIFE !....

LameWolf thanks, I am on a waiting list to be counselled, I dunno how long the waiting list is for, but the sooner the better.

skint, single mum of 4 I am the same, my abuser basically took my teenage life away , then 16 I went into a realationship with an partner, who beat me up, whenever his football team lost... Then I find out he abused my brother, which hurt me so much..... I got rid of him in 2003, but now he is trying to be come friends with me again, and saying he didnt do that stuff....

Also now I said the truth, and its spoilt Christmas for everyone else in the house... I killed Christmas, without even meaning too, now I am really down, cause I spoilt Christmas and my mums Birthday.... I want to go in a corner and just cry...

my past allways coming back physical /mental abuse at me most of it from when i was a kid but i cant talk to my mum about it (and she does not want to know anyway) ive try talking may as well talk to a wall

I know what you mean, Seeya. When I tried to tell my mother what my father had done to me over the course of 10 years, she called me a liar.

Well, I say friends are the family you choose for yourself! I've had nothing to do with any of my biological family for years now.

Ive heard that one, but not from my mum.... From my uncle, and someone I dont like... ''Get over it, move on'', but they dont know what your thinking, feeling etc.... I hate it when people say ''get over it, move on'', sometimes I want to say ''live my life then and then youll understand'', but I try and not work myself up over it.

Its like, they just dont understand, and only a few people (once you opened up a little bit), understand what it feels like to be told them words.

I hear them words everyday from my Uncle, ''get over it, deal with it, move on''.... Its like have you lived with guilt for 8 years like I have, lived with the fact that.... Gah!!! It just annoys me so much when people say that....
