Hi can I join this challenge please? I have been posting on the DFW board as my debts were getting out of control. After shifting the debt on c.cards around I will be making the minimum payments by direct debit but would love to save my loose change and pay more off my debts! Need to get myself a pot to start. Do I have to find the change or can I put in change from my purse too? (when I have any in there!)

Hi Pixie! Of course you can join in. Any change will do, if you find some on the pavement or get given some while shopping then it's all good.
Hopefully Guesty, the person who started this thread will be along to welcome you soon. I think they must be having problems getting online as they haven't been around for a while.
    Have fun!

Thanks RosePink I am going to find myself a pot and start scouring the house for change now! I would like to get one of those digital counting pots as I want to do it so that when I reach say £30 I will pay it off a debt. Otherwise I'll be counting it out every few days! Having a look on ebay now.

Guesty - when you get back online can I have a number please? This is my first ever challenge!

Well done, it all adds up.
Did I mention that to join here you have to send me cake? How soon can you have it hear? I would like chocolate cake and fairy cakes with pink icing.

You don't really, I just want cake so bad! If I go out and get some I would get some change...on the other hand I'm feeling extremely lazy!

I did go out and buy cake and beers for DH. I paid by debit card, but am rounding up all our debit card transactions to the nearest £ and putting the difference toward a CC, so that's kinda like virtual change!
I found a £1 coin while looking for the Uno cards today, so that's gone in the pot. I had a lovely day today, had a young girl over and we played Uno and triangular Dominoes. It was fun! She's a sweet kid.

Hello RP Im back - you left talking to you yourself again!?!?! Hugs from me!!

I dont ever have any pringles in my house - well, I havent for a while.

I do have a Terry Chocolate Orange plastic tub that came with sweets in it at Xmas - there are only a few left so am going to declutter those tonight and use that instead!! :D

Still collecting my loose change, found some in my car at the weekend which I need to add, plus BF was round at the weekend and noticed Id added all my change to the jar........hed said he'd noticed and was glad cos he hated seeing little piles all over the place.....so he started adding to it too!! (Im keeping it ALL of course!) :p

Not sure how much is in it, its only a small mayo jar, so probably only about a tenner!! :rotfl:

I think I must have nearly £40 now.

Had a nice morning, went over to see mum and take her to the homeopath, and had lunch with her and my sister. On the way back I got a tenner out and bought some chocolate - have put all the change in my pots.

How are you getting on Jo? Got much yet?
