Distributors pay the same for their services that other customers do.

If that is the case, why not accept my offer to enlist all the money savers brains to get you better deals elsewhere?
post up your circs and the combined brains who post here will show you better deals!

Or to put it bluntly - put up (your circs) or shut up!

As others have refused to put their own individual circumstances up for scrutiny, I do not see why I should. I have stated that for my own personal circumstances, I get the best overall deal that is available in my area. I'll stick with the knowledge that I trust me. If I find a better overall deal, somewhere I will swap.

There is a big difference when ordinary joes don't put up their circs.

Ordinary joes don't come here and claim that the uw supplies them everything cheaper than elsewhere!

You have used this forum as a uw rep to tell us that because you cannot get your supplies any cheaper elsewhere others will benefit as well.
this site is all about cost cutting. *I* can't cut my costs by shifting providers. Therefore there will be other people who will benefit by becoming UW customers.

Using "this site is all about cost cutting" seems more dishonesty from a uw rep when your cost cutting tip seems to be to join you, though you won't show us how you do it!

    NigeWick,

Your Bluff has been well and truly called!

I am more than happy to put my details up if you wish.
  • I am more than happy to put my details up and would request that you 'experts' find me a company that will put this on one, paper, itemised bill for less than UW. Thanks in advance.

    Gas - 15000/yr
    Leccy - 6000/yr
    Phone line rental
Broadband - up to 60gb/mth download and up to 24mb, please. (I'm fully llu'd, lol)
I simply MUST have free connection and NO minimum contract requirements, please.
Oh, and a free wireless router.
Oh, and a Laptop thrown in. Basic spec would be fine. 120gb HDD and 1mb RAM, Vista Basic, you know the score.
Free 24/7 GLOBAL calls, including USA and Australia (I have family in both these destinations). I can't stand all that internet phone %$£" either. Proper calls over proper telephone lines, please.
A chance to get a discount on my ONE BILL by recommending the service to other people would be very nice as well.

Can't think of anything else at the moment so get cracking. Oh, forgot, Yorkshire region and I could get all this for circa £136/mth with UW.

    Which does beg one question..

    Why dont you?

EDIT: Actually, you cant, you did say you want NO minimum contracts AND a free laptop, Never mind, UW tie you for 2 years if you want a laptop, keep looking! ;)
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

!!!!!!! :D That's why I don't ;) OK, let's allow a minimum contract length (that lets the infamous BT/BG hugger into the equation if he wasn't still ridiculously pretending to not read my posts :p). £136/mth for that lot looks like a very good price to me. No? Yes?

PS The reason why 'I don't' is entirely obvious to anyone who reads my posts. I switch 4 times a year for cashback purposes but I have said if this becomes impossible to do (BG are already making it very difficult unless you go onto their ridiculous standard tariff) then I probably would go with the UW 'all-in' package as i think, all-in, it's a very good deal.

Surely you approve of British Gas (and nPower) withdrawing from the unfair-to-the-passive-customers cashback market? Or do you arbitrarily choose which policies-that-punish-the-passive to disapprove of?

I don't see anything special about your bundle.

£92 for dual fuel from EDF (it's £116 from utility warehouse???)
£23 for llu landline and broadband (BT/O2 unlimited 24) (or £17 from others or £18 or 20.50 for 8 or 16MBps)
£5 for international plus £3 for national calls
    So that's £123 per month (or £118)
that leaves £13 per month (or £18) for a laptop (£312 or £432 over two years)

It's must be horrible no longer being able to cope with the terrifying prospect of dealing with three different companies. Hope you find a stem-cell cure to help your befuddlement.
