or 16614 KWh which gives £287 saving

16614kWh? total but what split night/day

    Putting in £100 is useless.

Well there is your error - nobody can use 90% of their electricity on E7 all year. - you don't heat in the summer.

It is rare for anyone to get above 60% or so used at night.

You can only get a comparison from the website if you know your total consumption and the split between night and day.

You don't know what your total consumption is - and it certainly isnt 16614kWh as even 12 x (1235 + 114) is less than that total; and December was one of the coldest months for years, so you are hardly likely to use 1235 in June/July/Aug etc

Yeah ok then. I've gone through the whole of last years bills on scottish power online account. My usage across the whole year is 75% at night.

So still should save some money than what i'm paying now with Scottish Power.

As 1Carminestocky is has published his usage, I'll do the same. I live in the East Midlands region.

£1.75 per month membership fee. Paper bill.
Electricity 195 kWh day time and 97 kWh night time per month
    Gas 472kWh per month
Landline for home (with free geographical calls as I have four services)
Landline & 24 meg broadband package. LLU with a 40Gig limit (never been charged for using extra)
Mobile phone used for about 10 short calls and 10 texts per month.
"Cashback" card that is paying £12.59 per month towards utilities

If I was to become a UW customer, this is the approach I would adopt (although I would avoid their mobile offering): get the bl**dy lot of services and unlock the added value deals. Plus the club fees if you take 4 services work out at 44p per month per service. And the cashback card is an absolutely brilliant idea IMO (it must be as it provokes so little 'discussion' on here :p )

PS Looks to me like the braodcall laptop offering has been discontinued, any idea if it will return?

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??

So give us your totals - night/day? - 75% is very high?

I still believe there is cheaper than UW.

I have a feeling you've left out a IMO rather important detail. No minimum contract length on phone/BB, gas or electric (although I do believe there is a £50 penalty with BB if you cancel within the first 12 months? Just a slight difference to Cardew's beloved BT package. Minimum 12 months package and puny 10gb/mth download allowance. But if he's happy enough and thinks he's got a killer deal, so be it. :rotfl:

I have spent 4 hours putting different figures in and UW are the cheapest in MY area for electricity.

I'm not being funny with you now but you say there is cheaper than UW for electric but you haven't said who

I have placed all my figures in many comparison sites and they come out cheapest in every single one of them... But seeing as everyone seems to hate them in this forum i'll do some further research in another forum.
