UW's phone line/BB package is IMO very bog standard in the marketplace.

£20 LLU, £27 non-LLU for 40GB? £25, £32 for unlimited? Plus club fees. Nothing special about that. You can get global calls for less than the club fees plus the small price premium elsewhere and you don't need to take an additional service to receive them outside of weekends.

Put some links up here and let's have a look and compare, then...
    Call me Carmine....

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??

Where abouts do you live and how much electricity do you use on night and day rates?

UW's night rate is attractive. However the prices shown on their website do not include VAT and apart from the club membership, you do pay £4.50 or £6(+VAT) a month for Economy 7 and their day rate is very expensive.

Using enerhyhelpline I can find no combination of supplies where UW is the cheapest.

using my KWh usage day and night figures that I put in energyhelpline.com they are £298 a year cheaper. Doesn't matter which compare website i use utility warehouse are the cheapest for electricity
  • Don't forget the £21/yr club fee is a one-off cost and costs the same whether you take 1,2,3, 4 or more services from UW. UW's phone line/BB package is IMO very competitive in the marketplace and obviously if you were to take that in addition to leccy you wouldn't incur any additional club fees but would qualify for free global telephone calls at certain times of the day (I think taking 3 service, i.e. phone/bb (counts as 2) and leccy, qualifies you to make free global calls at evenings & weekends at no additiona cost. These can always be added at a later date and will eb included on one monthly bill. Just a thought.

PS I always though SP were very competitive on leccy, what are your figures/%tage of night use/area, please?

    MANWEB area.
I'm with scottish power online tariff and every time I get a bill my night units go up in cost
    Day 14.85p KWh
    Night 6.1p KWh

What are your kWh usage figures then?

UW might be cheaper on E7 than the silly prices you are presently paying - but they are not the cheapest.

Why not settle this once and for all - and tell us your kWh usage for day and night.
  • This month I have used

    1235KWh Night £75.34
114KWh Day £17 or near enough

That is not what I asked.

We need the annual figures for night and day - the figures you put in to get an annual saving of £298.

As 1Carminestocky is has published his usage, I'll do the same. I live in the East Midlands region.

£1.75 per month membership fee. Paper bill.
Electricity 195 kWh day time and 97 kWh night time per month
    Gas 472kWh per month
Landline for home (with free geographical calls as I have four services)
Landline & 24 meg broadband package. LLU with a 40Gig limit (never been charged for using extra)
Mobile phone used for about 10 short calls and 10 texts per month.
"Cashback" card that is paying £12.59 per month towards utilities

I put monthly cost £100 DD which is about right as we never more than £30 in debt or £20 in credit with them so average is £100

In the manweb area I cannot find a cheaper electrical supply... unless you can I will take that deal
  • or 16614 KWh which gives £287 saving
