            Hi All,
Started my blanket and its halfway, i already love it!
But now DS wants one, in rainbow colours so i was wondering if any of you use online yarn suppilers? And if you had a recomendations? Would prefer a chunky yarn but need bright colours and not to expensive cause i didnt realise how much you need for a blanket!
 Thanks

If you google kemp wool shop, there pretty good for yarns x, unless its for a new baby i always jst use an acrylic dk for a standard blanket, i did start using rowan pure wook but its jst works out too expensive for my projects.0

I agree that Kemps is really good - they are near me, so actually go to their shops. Another excellent one is a local on to me too, it's called Knit n Purl wool shop - it's in south shields, but they have a website. I'm on my iPhone at the moment so can't post a link right now! :-)
edit: here you go http://www.knitnpurlwoolshop.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1&Itemid=1the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0

I want to crochet a chunky cowl for winter, but the pattern is amercian (which i am fine with, i follow american patterns anyway) but what would be the equivalent of the yarn? Apparently its 'super chunky'. Do we have that in the UK? It sounds like such a daft question doesnt it!!

I really want to make these monster baby booties but I don't have a baby (or know of a baby) to give them to! I wonder if I can just tweak the pattern and make myself some? :rotfl:Dry January: 31/31 days. :T0
