Hello all, I haven't posted for ages because life just seems to overtaken me, but I have been keeping an eye on the thread and love the makes that have been added. Clever lot!

Anyway, I thought I'd show you what I've been working on for what seems like years -

No two squares are the same. I actually finished the blanket while I was waiting for voters to turn up when I was a poll clerk last Thursday, so I'm calling it the Election Blanket. No coincidence I had to deal with lots of loose ends I think!

    Hope you like them.

WOW thats lovely ,I love bright throws.

I,ve been busy making baby blankets, finished a white one and am in the middle of doing a variegated one

Hi artydoll, you certainly got a bargain with that lot! Beautiful fine work, I don't think I'd have the patience though, I like things that grow very quickly, hence my chunky blanket.
Oh dear, here we go again.

Hi gingababe. The pattern I used is this one but then I went all round each square in cream before I joined them. I made mine out of cheapo 100% acrylic dk, but I'm sure it would be much nicer if I could have afforded really nice wool!

How fantastic! I would be so honoured if that happened to me, Lucy is the one we'd all like to be like, and to have her approval like that is a real compliment. You'll have loads of visitors now.

That's exactly how I feel Jenny:) I'm so pleased. Honestly blogging has turned out to be so rewarding I wish I'd started long ago.

I really must get on with my current WIP which is a rainbow blanket in trebles, just a little one. Should be finished by the end of the weekend.

    Looking forward to seeing it.

BTW I know I'm not in the same league as Lucy, but I enjoy your blog too and it's on my favourites list.
