Inspired by you ladies and Deramores offer for the Attic24 Lucy pack, I've started my first blanket. I'm loving it. The yarn is so soft and easy to work, its a pleasure.

Just one question - how do you prevent your hook slipping out when you put your work down for a moment?
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

I don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.

Help, I want to do a large granny blanket in one colour, and be able to go round and round, all the tutorials show just doing small squares, any ideas on how I can just go round and round until I do enought until finished.

    Thanks in advance

Just follow the tutorial for the small squares but don't finish off just keep going building round upon round.

You can do it as a continuous spiral, I've currently got a similar blanket on the go... I'll try and find the link I used as a tutorial, or I'll try to explain it, hold on...
