I bought it today, I thought it was well worth the 99p if it can teach me to crochet
I did buy all of the Art of Knitting mags a few years back - and although pricey it did teach me how to knit which is what I wanted from it. Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -

99p first issue, next is £1.99, and not sure about others. I taught myself to crochet but 99p is worth it for the yarn (25g plus 16g) and the crochet hook. A few patterns in it too.
ETA I agree it is very basic though and have taught myself most of the stitches etc already.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Yeah i got my copy after going to 4 newsagents !, i have to say though i dont envy anyone trying to learn with that cheapo crochet hook and the terrible yarn , ive crocheted a few things but i struggled with that yarn and hook felt really rough
think i will get the next one for the binder then thats it
If anyone wants to learn i suggest googleing "the art of crochet by terresa" shes fab and i learned from watching her videos0
