99p for the first one - £2.99 for future issues. Haven`t looked at mine yet but don`t think I`ll be buying the set.

I bought it too and will only be buying the first one. There are 120 issues

And it gives you the patterns week by week to make a blanket.

I got it as I thought it would be nice to take a new hobby. Not that I do my other hobbies enough :rotfl:

I've given up over christmas, I can't really concentrate withm the kids screaming at each other for touching the wrong toys!!

They are back to school (well, DS is at school and DD starts nursery) next wekk so I will have a lot more time on my hands, wool out, hooks on the go, parked in front of the laptap with you tube on!

I am determined to crack this bu@@er!!!

Same here... I'm not getting much done either and are just waiting for the boys to go back to school next week. I only just managed to crochet this dragon in time to put in one of my boys stocking for Christmas

Will go to WHSmith next week and buy the magazine people have mentioned. Just to have a look...I do not intend to buy any of the others. I did the mistake 7yrs ago and bought one magazines and continued on a monthly payment. I was still paying for it 3yrs later and adding up the amount of money it was not worth it
  • greenpixey, that dragon is wonderfull - so cute.

I just came on here to post about the crochet partwork. I know it's sad but I think it is so exciting that crochet is popular enough to have a partwork, I never thought I'd see the day! Is the first issue worth buying then? I wasn't going to bother, got a lovely set of multicoloured hooks and all the supplies, a few books etc and lately I've been exploring Ravelry which is the most amazing resource, sadly the MSE group seems really quiet on there and also appears to need more crocheters =)
  • I need to try & get a copy of the first issue too, I bought a copy of the first knitting one too, I gave it to our school library & it's been loaned out a few times. I'm hoping to do the same with the crochet one.

Not sad at all. I think it's great too! It's nice to see more crochet patterns for clothes too.

I love the dragon greenpixie - I'm in the middle of making a cat for my youngest DD.
