Ooh piccies !!! Yes please!! Glad the project ended up being quick.

Although wasn't convinced you would get it from my insane ramblings.

Weather pants here - but I have managed to crochet 9 clutch bags and 6 saggy botton bags for my inventory (going to sell them when I get off benefits so working on stock at the moment). I figure I need to make about 7000 to get me debt free  soI'd better keep on hooking.

There are 2 bags on handles in the Happy Hooker :D I'm sure that you could adapt an existing hexagon pattern.

My grand daughter has taken to French knitting in a big way. I bought her a pack of 4 different sized hoops and so far she has done a couple of beanies. However she would like to make some leg warmers so she needs a smaller sized hoop. Has anyone any suggestions about what one could use or buy with a diameter of about 4 inches to knit tubes a suitable size for leg warmers please?

While in town today i got a phone call from my Mum who had just seen an advert on the t.v for a special issue of a new 'crochet' magazine. As it happens i was right outside WHSmith when i took the call so i went in and voila! There on the stand next to the till was the very magazine. It contains a learning to crochet beginner DVD, a crochet hook, 2 balls of wool and some papers that can be put in a binder. The magazine only costs 99p so it is a great way of economically finding out if crochet is yours, or in this case, MY, thing.

This is the first issue and there are going to be about 100 issues or something like that. I only want this issue, i can learn the rest off the internet, there are loads of videos on youtube and elsewhere.
