You have to sign up but it's free to join, there are loads of free and also some paid patterns and you can search.

I'm doing my first ever ripple blanket and have a question please. Each row the increase and decrease seem to be slightly out. i.e. the increase begins on the last treble of the previous increase. Is this right and will it sort itself out as the ripple progresses or do they need to be in the identical spot as the row before increase and decreases? If so, I will just amend the amount of trebles inbetween rather than pull the whole thing to pieces.

Sorry redlady1 I can't help you but I'm sure someone will be along with the right advice.

I have made these Japanese crochet flowers which were going to be for a blanket, but there isn't going to be enough cotton to make the size I had in mind. Oh well will have to think of something else.:o

redlady1 - this is the pattern for the ripple blanket I made recently. It's fairly easy to follow as she has photos of where to put the hook etc. HTH :)

    Loving everybody's projects.

I was away last week so managed to finish off my first ever 100 granny squares!! I did little else. It was bliss!!

I laid them out last night to get an idea of what they will look like when attached together.

I'm trying to put them together today. It's taking aaaages!!

    Edit:
It's 10.30 and I am only just over half way finished crocheting them together!!!!
Hopefully by tomorrow night it will he ready for putting a scallop hem on :)

I really LOVE the Crochet Squares Afghan Throws - yours is bautiful, jumblejack - but I only ever made the one! It was the sewing/crocheting together bit that I hated.

I don't mind when it's a small cot/pram/pushchair blanket, but adult ones - no chance!

From then on, I stuck with making blankets out of one HUGE square - using it to cover myself with as it got bigger and b-i-g-g-e-r ;).

I must admit, I'm hating crocheting them together too!

Glad this wasn't my first crochet attempt. It might put me off!!! Can't wait to start on a cushion though :).
Are circular cushions easy or squares as above? I want up use the same colours as above to coordinate.
