Thought I'd share my latest creation, a shopping bag made using plarn (plastic yarn). I finally have an empty cupboard in the laundry where all these bags were stored. Hope you like.

thats brilliant. thats the sort of thing i am going to make but with longer handles when i have enough bags. taking a while collecting them as i try to take my reusable bags when i go shopping. did you have a pattern for this?0 -
That's brilliant pinkpiggy66! One thing worries me about using plastic yarn is that, now that so many plastic carrier bags are bio-degradable, I wonder how long it would last. Some plastic bags I've got recently only last a couple of weeks before they start to disintegrate. Did you buy the plarn or make it yourself from plastic bags?0

Thats a great bag. We never have that many plastic bags to have enough to make one!
I'm midway through a circular cushion, I'm doing one side in lilac and the other in cream with the yarn from Lidl & yesterday I did one of the teeny tiny flower brooches from Attic24 in colours to match a new skirt I bought. Will try and grab a few crochet hours today as i've been busy making valentines projects (info on blog as it's not crochet)

Thank you, I'm still learning so doing smallish projects first to build up my skill, that said I've just started the blooming flower cushion from Attic24 which is a little more challenging but a lovely project0

I made the plarn myself. I had so many plastic bags that I've collected over the last couple of years that my cupboard was overflowing. I normally take bags to the supermarket but when shopping online, it comes in shopping bags that I can't return  hence the glut of them.Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All
