To anybody out there considering giving crochet a go, GO FOR IT!

    :TI heartily agree :T

  • Thanks to you all I've been inspired to start crocheting again :)

So I now have Attic24 style ripple, stripe cushion and round "target" striped cushions brightening up my sofa. Next on my list is a chunky sweater - wish I'd started that first now the snow and ice are here!

Not sure if anyone else has found Hejhog.co.uk, but they do some lovely wools at very reasonable prices (including Debbie Bliss) and delivery is quick too.

Jessie15, where did you find the pattern for the Japanese Flower Scarf, did you buy the book? I can't seem to find the pattern on Attic24 :(

I'm looking forward to seeing your photos, I upload photos to Photobucket to make it easier to add them on here, if that helps.

I have used Hejhog too, and agree with everything you say about them, they have been very good.

I think we are all more than a little addicted to Attic24 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I will try to upload some pics this weekend then.

With regards to the pattern, I searched the web and nearly gave up but eventually found it. I will pm you the link if you like? I really am enjoying doing it and the Debbie Bliss Andes yarn is really lovely, I have done 20 flowers now.

Oooh yes please! I have searched too, but so far have only found it in French, hhmmmm, I do speak French, but not crochet terms, so thank you that would be really good. :j:j

I thought you might like to see the start of my African Flower cushion. Well I say cushion, I've only actually made this one so far, and I'm half way through the second. I do love this pattern.

    Hi all

Feels like its been ages since I posted on here. Am struggling with crochet at the mo..... i try to start things but I just can't get motivated to do them.

Bought some cushion inserts today for 50p each so hope to make some covers for them..... maybe!

Nice to see all your project and a big hi to newbies.
