I have far too many WIPs at the moment :rotfl:

I know just what you mean. I've started the blooming flower and I've already got one cushion on the go plus a felted bag plus other craft projects that are swirling around in my mind all at the same time - too many creative ideas & not enough time!

I am making a ripple and a granny square and along with that I have oodles of new crochet books that I treated myself to and I am itching to make lots of things from them!

Yes I saw your crochet books on your blog they looked a lovely selection & I bet there are some great projects inside!

I've completed one of my "WIP"s today at last. I was just waiting for one last ball of wool which came yesterday so I finished the crochet part last night & did the felting this morning (the before & after pics are on blog)

  • So pleased there is a crochet thread here and to read so many keen crocheters' posts. I've just come back to crocheting after many years' absence. I wasn't very good before, so I've been watching Youtube video tutorials. I've developed a penchant for crocheting motifs. Lord knows what I'm going to do with them all!

Those flowers look lovely! There are quite a few avid crocheters on here and many have blogs too for even more inspiration. Attic24 is a great site too!

  • Poppy_Golightly they truly are gorgeous. Have you considered trying to sell your flowers on Ebay or Etsy. I know lots of people do.

    Hi everyone

    PG those flowers are lovely:)

Im really pleased with myself after yesterday, I have been struggling what to do after my granny square blanket that has now finished growing:rotfl:and I went onto attic24 and followed the instructions for the tin covers (they seemed easy enough for me as Im a novice) and the small one turned out really well, its nice to have something practical, anyway I was then sorting out cupboards and found a plastic tall beaker to throw away, sorry recycle, and I thought I would do one for that to and it turned out really well and is now sitting on my kitchen window waiting for some daffs to go in it. I cant post photos as I havent a camera yet but isnt it lovely to have a bit o colour on your windowsill in this cold and dull weather:):)

Wondering what I can make next, Im really enjoying this crocheting and thanks to everyone for being encouraging to us new ones

    Poppy_Golightly those flowers are stunning!

Well considering I couldn't crochet until approx November last year, I am doing really well and very much enjoying it! I began with a granny square blanket which I gave to mum for Christmas, then did a Blooming Flower cushion (from Attic24 blog), then I finished a ripple cushion (Attic 24 again) and I am now on the Japanese Flower Scarf (yes Attic24 - I am addicted to her blog!!!) I have completed 14 flowers and am using Debbie Bliss Andes yarn and its beautiful if I say so myself!!!

I am also stashing some Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino yarn for a large ripple blanket for my bed.

I really must put some pics on but not sure how to?

To anybody out there considering giving crochet a go, GO FOR IT!
