Thanks Rummer - another saved to my Favourites 'crochet' list! I wish I knew the sex of the baby as it would be lovely to be able to use variations of pink or blue - perhaps make one of each!0

Hi Rummer, just found your blog. Will read it when I get a little free time, but loving the yarn colours in your lucky pack from Masons. They are gorgeous.
My current project is a bag. I'm making a shopping bag out of the seemingly endless carrier bags we seem to have collected (even though I take my own bags to the supermarket). Many of them are from we have done our shopping online but the supermarket doesn't take them back. I'm quite enjoying it and feeling quite virtuous at my recycling.Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All

I have just started a blog .... its really easy to do if you use the google blogs. Check them out2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0 -
I've been using Bethintx1's youtube videos to learn some of the basics and to also follow some of her video tutorials for hats, granny squares etc. She is in Texas so obviously uses the American terms so things like her double crochet is actually what we call a treble crochet, but there are a few websites which have the appropriate conversion. I've also used a few websites which show large diagrams if I've been stuck.
I'm currently following my first pattern for a bag which will be felted at the end so hopefully doing a few of the basics will help0 -

Masons have some very reasonable yarns are very fast with their delivery, often next day, so very good if you are impatient like me :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I tried crocheting with my cut up t-shirts today. It's not easy, but I will persevere. I'm going to make a couple of hot pads for my pans.0

I was delighted with the delivery speed of Masons, as it came the next day. The other places I have used have all delivered within a few days.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0
