How about trying Angelbears . I'm sure they could do with some more :)

Never heard of them .... fab idea. I make squares to be made into blankets for kids abroad but will look at doing this too :)

I have just finished my very first Ripple :j:j. I made an envelope back for the cushion cover, using a cheap fleece blanket that I found in B & Q clearance department!

I am very pleased with it, but think I may need a plumper cushion pad to fill it out a bit more.

Wow, missmilly - they are fantastic. I'm about to start one of those lovely blankets, but I doubt it'll look as good as yours. I love the wavy lines on the cushions and using fleece for the back is a great idea too. Such inspiration..

    They are fab mismilly!!

I've just started reading this thread in the last week, but think I might have to stop as you're inspiring me too much, lol!!:D I've got a list of 6 projects (both knitting and crochet) and now also want to do a ripple project!

Is the other cushion the Blooming Flower Cushion from attic24?

(Can anyone tell me how I post links with just one word instead of the whole thing? Thanks.)

Edited to shorten link... and it worked yay!!!

Thank you, yet again :). Yes it is the Blooming Flower Cushion from Attic24, I've just started another smaller one now, to go with it. I enjoyed doing the ripple pattern once I'd completed the first row!

To post one word linkies.... go to User Help in the Green Panel at the top of this bit and click on the question 'How do insert website links into my post' and it explains all. Hope this helps.

I realise it may sound like a stupid question but should all rows have exactly the same number of stitches in them?

Yes, for what you are doing there should be the same number of stitches on each row. The reason it curved at the bottom is because the chains are tighter than the rest.
Don't give up, keep practicing it, will suddenly click and you'll wonder how you thought it was so difficult :)

WOW MISSMILLY its beautiful!!!!! I cant believe you have finished it already!!!! I am still working on the back of my blooming flower cushion, but shouldnt be too long before its finished, I am so pleased with it. Just remind me was it the wool from Masons that you used for the ripple cushion? The colours look lovely!! Well done! :T:T

Thank you :) You haven't been too long doing your flower cushion either, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished article.

I bought the 17 ball pack from Masons for the Granny Stripe, but had quite a lot left over, so I used it for the ripple cushion and am now using more of it on my second Blooming Flower, but I'm sure I'll run out of it sometime soon :rotfl:
