Well Done Jessie15, it really does get hold of you doesn't it :rotfl::rotfl:I'm pleased you got on OK with the ripple pattern too.

If it's of any help, I bought a round feather filled cushion pad from Dunelm Mill to fill my Blooming Flower Cushion, it wasn't expensive either.

Looking forward to seeing the photos.

I need to get back into making the granny squares or this blanket will never get finished!

  • I am trying to teach myself how to do Granny squares, I learnt how to do the chain stitch today, but now utterly confused.

Do you know how to treble? I find it hard to make granny squares using one continous colour, I find it far easier to change colour on each new round. Let us know what you are finding tricky and we can try to help :D

Put your hook through the first chain stitch and pull the yarn through both loops on your hook to create a ring. Chain three and then do two triple crochet into the middle of the ring you have created.

It took me ages to get my head around granny squares but now I find them very relaxing and make loads of them, so do keep trying! Just post again if you need help and we can maybe give you links to other sites of video clips that may help.
