    Rummer I thought living in New Zealand, the land where there are allegedly more sheep than people, yarn would be cheaper than in the UK, but unfortunately it's not. Oh how I yearn for my little wool shop in Dunfermline. :drool:

    Hi everyone
    My granny square cushion is gradually turning into a blanket:rotfl:it just keeps growing, but Im really enjoying it, I just wish I could get more time to spend on it. You are all such an inspiration on here and Im soooo glad I found this thread, cos I would never have taken up crocheting again if it wasnt for all of you:j so thanks for posting all the gorgeous piccies and links and giving all the help to us beginners

    Hi all. Nice to see pics and more people chatting :)

    I have been crocheting my daughter a dress! Its almost finished, should be done today ..... thank god!
    Made my own pattern, kinda guessed as I went along. Its not perfect but my daughter loves it. I hoped for a nice subtle coloured dress but she has eclectic taste and its ended up quite random!!
    Will post pics when its done :)
    2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j

    Wooohooo, dress finished at long last :) Finished it just as DD was getting ready for bed, so she had to wear it while cleaning her teeth :rotfl:
