Hello!
I have started to crochet a pair of wrist warmers and I am so looking forward to having snuggly wrists. Tonight and tomorrow I am going to crochet a wee heap of snowflakes to give as crafty gifts on Sunday!

just popped in to see what everyone is up to but can't stop long as DD is pestering me to finish her new sonic the hedgehog toy!
it is lovely to see all the pictures of everyone's projects.
Rummer do you have a tried and tested snowflake pattern you could recommend? I have some lovely silver yarn but I have been resisting the urge to browse for patterns as I end up looking more than doing!0 -
I used the marvelous pattern from Attic24:

As I was so smitten with the results from the first one I made I have ordered a book on Amazon on crocheting snowflakesTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

Hello, where is everyone?
I have spent the last few days crocheting up a storm and I now have a lovely pile of granny squaresTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
I'm here. Not doing any projects though as only have 1 ball of wool in. I'm lacking any kind of inspiration which is absurd considering the amount of blogs I am subscribed too.0

Can I join? I've just finished reading the whole thread. I love Attic24,
Lucy is so inspirational. Thanks to you all I've started
crocheting again. I learnt several years ago through the internet
and books. I found it difficult at times but persevere! I found Granny squares difficult as I could never find the right chain stitch to start the new round so I would put a safety pin through it as I crocheted it so when I got to the next round I could find it easily and then just remove the pin. I got a lovely set of coloured metallic hooks for Xmas and two books. I'm currently working on a ripple blanket and I was thinking of starting either a hat or cardigan.#19 Save £12K in 2019 challenge. Target = £10,000. Progress = £1136.09/10,000 (11.36%)

I've done mostly knitting recently as I made loads of stripey mittens a Christmas gifts, but now it's back to crocheting granny squares & baby blankets.
