lol... too busy with more crochet to take a picture!

Well actually, the big five oh birthday this weekend, so folks around, will take a picture next week sometime. Finished 3 scarves now, all in "foxglove" colour, and one more to make in a bright green... the that will be a few Christmas presents ready, already :D

If there was a "beaming" emoticon, rather than just a huge smile, I'd have used that emoticon!

Well done to all the people learning to crochet, hard at first, but once you've mastered it, you'll soon be making some lovely things!

LolaLemon; It's not joined at the ends. It can also be used as a fancy belt, hair adornment, draped around mirrors and pictures as well as a necklace. Multi functional!

I've decided to do some crocheting again as I used to make my own crochet clothes when I was younger. I went to a charity shop to ask if they had any hooks and the young lady in the shop did not know what I was talking about . Made me feel really old :(.

Wow she must lead a sheltered life if she didn't know what a crochet hook is :( It should be made mandatory that they bring crafts back into school.:D

I have been missing in action, still working away on my daughter's granny square blanket.

I followed a link to someone's blog and came across a pattern for an Easter egg. Instead of housework and a whole pile of ironing, I made the egg, I added the felt flower and the ribbon, for effect. You can't really see the yarn very well, it is white with little flecks of pastel colours in it
