Apologies I have not updated at all until today...

Don't worry if you've not updated at all. I'm only scratching people off the challenge if they have specifically asked to be removed. If you've not provided an update at all, please do so if you can :T

Chart 02 will get published tomorrow - probably not first thing either, but happy to keep accepting updates until the 30th June, after which it gets 'locked' and some analysis is done.

Completely forgot that I'd not done any analysis for chart no. 1, so tasks for tomorrow are:
    • [STRIKE]Publish Chart 02[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Publish Chart 03[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Put 'Updated' column in charts[/STRIKE]
    • Publish analysis for Chart 01
Spent a limited amount of time this evening playing with putting an Updated column in a temporary chart. May try to get these into the proper charts tomorrow too. Phew!

Hi all, very late for an update but i've only just got in!

I'm a bit behind on my target as I was expecting a pay rise this year, but 6 months down the line i'm still waiting due to boss "forgetting" that I'd asked for one!!! I'm hoping that when (or if) it goes through i can catch up a bit..

Well done to every one on their overpayments, it amazing what a difference small payments can make!!

Anyway the reason i'm here, my mortgage is now reduced to £75,936 so payments in this year of £4063! (overpayments of just over £2K)

Off to update via googledocs now.. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

    Bye for now
    Moo x
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Wow can't believe its over a £million paid off - thats amazing well done everyone. Its Teapot2 #201, have updated re Google and quite pleased really that we've managed to keep overpaying - new amount outstanding is £53,783.

Not had a great week, OH got his 'you are being made redundant' email this week - even though we knew it was coming its hard to see it in print. Its such an unsettled time for everyone I know but with all the promised cuts by the Govt plus our personal situation I do feel quite despondent at times though it comes and goes. Trying VERY hard to be in the here and now and forget we are going to be relying on me who is self employed

Haven't been able to overpay quite as much as we wanted, I've been paying £200 a month off credit cards to try and clear them before OH's pay stops. It was mostly vet bills for our poorly old boy cat that was on the cards - he had to be put to sleep finally at Easter but the bils didn't half mount up. We've decided not to have any new animals for the moment until we know we are a bit more stable financially [if ever] but I do miss a puddy cat snog after a hard day :o

Looking forward to seeing the new chart and how we have all done.

Well here it is - the second chart of this challenge...

    MFiT-T2 Chart 02:
    http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tks17oKUg5u0jJOsscg4G1Q&single=true&gid=16&output=html

Firstly, a big thanks for everyone who has made it this far and supplied an update. As per the previous chart, could I ask that everyone checks their entry for any errors...

If there's an error, eg we've marked you as updated on the updates sheet, but missed you off the chart, got your balance wrong or whatever, could you re-update using the Google update form and we'll get the entry amended.

Note: Still taking updates for Chart 02 until 30th June. We'll do some analysis - probably in the interim and some final analysis once the chart gets closed.

Currently, we have had [STRIKE]92[/STRIKE], correction - 100 updates and collectively paid down £1,151,585 off our mortgages, ie pounds, which is 12.32%.

We paid off £697,507 in Chart 01
We've currently paid off £454,078 in Chart 02.

For those of you that have updated - a very well done - I can't believe how many of you are in the green zone. Don't worry if you're not - there's still quite some time left to catch up.

For those of you who haven't updated - please do try and get an update in.

    Thanks,
    Financial Bliss / Maz123.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully a few more will update by 30th June.

Can I make a suggestion? Is there any way that the "shortfall" column could also show by how ahead of their target people are? e.g by having a negative shortfall. My shortfall would therefore be -£2861. This would allow people to see at a glance how much they are either ahead or behind target in the same column....
