Sorry for not updating sooner. We got to within 2k of mf but then bought a new house which meant that although our equity has increased greatly, our mortgage debt has too. I think I'll leave it as the last update I entered in March because otherwise it'll look like I went on a massive spending- spree! :rotfl: We're just working out our new target for mfin 3, will register very soon

Thanks for all your hard work FB and huge congratulations to everyone who paid off their mortgage and of course to everyone who took part
    Updating soon...

    Merry Christmas to all
2013 is the year i am determined to make a big dent in my mortgage, I have been half heatedly trying for a couple of years sending off a little overpayment most months. But I know that I could do so much better and send bigger op's. I need help to keep motivated and 'see' what a difference each payment makes. Does anyone have a spreadsheet (simple!) that you would be willing to share that would help me to visually see the impact of overpayments?
    Would be very grateful
