    Well, my target was:
    11. gallygirl. Completely clear my £68,432 mortgage (actually, a bit of a hotch potch of several).

Final balance is £1,997.93, so fell a little short :(. Not really disheartened as plans completely changed due to accidental house purchase :o, so although I haven't met the target (and run up 58k debt to Mr GG in the process ) our overall equity has increased a lot and that's what it's all about!

    Well done everybody :T:T:T:T:T.

And a big :kisses3: and  to FB and Maz for doing this :T.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • 189 the end of the rainbow.

Target was to reduce mortgage from £107,243 to £53,621.

Managed to pay it off in full last month :jbut then took out a £400,000 mortgage .

So will see you all on the next challenge - hoping to reduce total debt by £40,000 over 3 years.

Well done to everyone and,as always, huge thanks to FB & Maz for running this challenge.

Hi lovely peeps and our super lovely FB (and Maz!)

Well despite the shocking RED colour of my challenge scores this challenge has definitely helped me focus on getting the mortgage debt down and build up a buffer (despite simultaneously accruing new CC debt..I know..I know. Being part time is not as easy as it sounds :( )

    So scores on doors are:

    12 years to go.

    Mortgage stands at £183,271.00

So still over my starting point 3 years ago, but does mean that I have paid off the £45k extra I borrowed a few months into the challenge for some big toys. Am basically back where I started. :undecided Silver lining??

Have joined the MFIT-T3 challenge and also updated my form FB.
Well done everyone. See some of you on the next challenge and, everyone, we should have a big pat on the back for being such a great team of Moneysavers!!:T

PS End of the rainbow..you can do it!!

  • Hi everyone,

I can't believe 3 years has passed us by...

Here is my last figures for the challenge:

    Mortgage as at 12/12/09: £193,000
    Mortgage as at 10/12/12: £78,500

The aim was to pay off £93,000. We have managed to pay off an amazing £114,500. :D

Very pleased with our efforts! :j

I have joined the MFi3T3 and our aim is to completely clear the outstanding amount £78,500. It will be challenging as we have a 2 year old which we didn't know about at the start of the challenge and are hoping to add to the family in the coming few years, but I'm sure if we keep going they way we have, we have every chance.

Many thanks for all of your amazing stories. It has definitely helped us keep motivated and it's nice to see so many doing so well in beating their targets... A speacial Thank You to Financial Bliss and Mas123. The excel charts are so motivating and when I show it to my better half, it keeps her motivated too.

I have updated the Google update page this morning.

    Thanks,
    SHOULDI
