Not Buying it 2015!0 -
I hang all my clothes on hangers as soon as they come out of the machine, and hang them over doors etc. to dry and they dry pretty uncreased, some things like jeans need a quick iron though.
This works well for me and I have never used a tumble dryer in my life.0 -
I like ironing (sorry) however due to working more hours I've cut down alot, I used to iron everything, I ought to point out at this point it was usually done in front of the TV with something red in a glass
Don't buy linen for a start lol, although some might say that its a waste of time ironing that anyway. I have work trousers which I hang using clip type hangers and I hang from the waist, hope that makes sense rather than folded over.
I don't know your situation and won't presume so I don't iron OH's work clothes (old jeans and fleece) don't iron underwear (used too) only iron the top and sides of duvet and sheets, not bottom thats tucked in. Don't bother with towels etc.
Hope that helps, wine oftern does0 -
My friend doesn't iron anything nor does she have a tumble drier!!!
I have treid to copy her but am not as fastidious as her. When she hangs stuff up to dry she shakes it, shapes it and hangs it up carefully. I tend to bung it on and then iron later. Seriously she doesn't iron a thing!0 -
I hate ironing too!
I bought a steam press a couple of years ago, then bits stated dropping off it, like the catch, and I left it upstairs. Plus I kept burning myself on it! I did manage to press quickly when compared to ironing. Now I hang everything up as soon as it comes off the radiator/off the line/inside airer/TD and leave it there for weeks! Creases are not too bad as result and no one ever says to me my clothes are creased! (They probably think it!)
Plus I try and buy things that wouldn't need much of an iron for work! I am considering buying a new iron and board when I hopefully sell the press on ebay.

How about getting 100% polyester clothes which should be iron free, be careful not to stand next to anything flamable though.I hate migraines.0

Quite honestly, I just don't iron! Seriously, I don't iron anything unless I'm dressing up really smart for something, which isn't very often. I can't remember the last time I used my iron and my board is the outside hut! In fact, I'm not sure where the iron is........
During the summer months my clothes are dried outside, and in colder months I make full use of my radiators, so I'm not using a tumble drier. Also, if you make sure you don't fill your washing machine to the maximum, and empty it as soon as the cycle is finished, you should find that they are really not creased. Just give them a good flap/shake out before hanging them to dry, and hey presto.
