Hate ironing. Hang washing out to dry on the line. A good breezy day and majority of the creases fall out that way. Hadn't ironed for years, then eldest son joined air cadets. Have to iron his uniform, greens (camouflage clothing) and blues (smart trousers and shirt). The creases have to be sharp and in exactly the right place.
Its taken me a few months but at last I have gotten the creases right. Just need to teach him how to iron them now and then I can go back to my non ironing days...

Yes, get him to do it himself!!!!!!!!

I absolutely hate ironing and will only do it if I have to or have nothing left to wear! I never iron towels, sheets, quilt covers, pillowcases, tea towels, socks or pants! My mum does all of the above and thinks that I'm a dreadful slattern. :D

When I lived in my old flat we had a shower over the bath.
When I was getting ready to go out I would simply hang my outfit on the shower curtain rail and when the bathroom filled with steam from my shower, the creases would just fall out! :j

This worked even with clothes that had been stuffed in a drawer after drying or folded with really bad creases.
Now I've moved and don't have a shower over the bath, just a cubicle which doesn't fill the room with enough steam for it to work. I'm gutted.

My washer has a steam function. To refresh something you just put your stuff in for 20 minutes. I also have a steam generator iron, so a lot of stuff just gets hung on a hanger and steamed instead of ironed.
