We need to reverse the decline of UK PLc'S industries. Having endless miles of bland shopping malls giving the public "an experience" isn't creating real wealth, which is all we seem to have left following the demise of the financial services sector.0 -

Agree about Royal Mail and BT as these are companies vital to the running of the country. God knows what sort of chaos we might end up with if Americans, Europeans, Middle Eastern sovereign funds or assorted Asian companies took them over. Lots of lovely little independent cafes/restarants/hotels. Don't go! My life is definitely better for choice of large numbers of lovely places to go out, not there really (or far less) when I was younger. But do get cheaper!0 -
