Thanks, but why are LCP not getting back to emails (when they normallyy do within a few hours) or sending tracking details?

    I've been Money Tipped!
Quick question, we sent a few deliveries via Shipping Manager/DHL and one of the items failed to be delivered and a card left. The item was released form storage and delivery attempted again - ditto another card left. So how long can this go on (early stages I know), but is there a limit on attempted deliveries before the item is returned??
What is the worst case scenario with this??

Does anyone know the cheapest courier for a LONG PARCEL?

I'm the buyer of car roof bars on Ebay. Length 120cm. Not sure of packaged length and seller has no idea of weight.

Freightsearch (my usual) is showing £13.99 when I put in 130x20x20 and 5kg. Buy Ebay sellers are charging £8.99.
Could anyone tell me what weight? What courier?
    Thanks!

Interparcel will charge you £6.99+VAT for that collection... Hope that helps

I had similar experiences with them........failed collections and no replies to emails. I posted on here to try to find out (about 11pm) and was then 3 mins later received a response from them by email. They then said that they were not accepting bookings from me as I had posted neg comments about them on a forum. I then got a private message (on here) from a poster on here (who raved about them) saying maybe I should remove the post and they may give me refund..

    ..........very dodgy.

Had a call from Freightsearch thanking me for my business and saying rates are shooting up from Friday for DHL deliveries in the UK and they will no longer be competitive. I liked Freightsearch - sorry to see this happen.
Shame, they offered £7.49 for Highlands & Islands. No-one could touch them on price (Interparcel £14.49 incl 5% for same). Their cheapest rate is £13.99 with Parcelforce now. Almost double the price of last week.
Anyone know of any special deals out there, especially to places like Isle of Wight?

They sound very childish. They should take any negative comments as constructive critisism, and learn from it like any good business.

You will probably find that they get a lot of their trade by having multiple user names in the forums promoting them.

Sounds like you are better off without them.

I have an urgent question. I have never used Interparcel before. It is telling me I will need to print off as part of the booking process.

I do not have a printer at the mo. Moreover, mine is not the collection address (I will receive it). Should something be required to be printed for the collection or to be put on the parcel maybe?

    Anyone done this?

    Bit confused...

I have the answer and it may be of help to others!

It is a barcode label that must be printed off and put on the parcel.

So I emailed it to the sender.
