I am selling a triple buggy on ebay and a lot of people want me to post. Would rather not but equally want to sell it.

It would be two parcels - the largest being 22kg 90x80x50cm. Never used a courier before and have been searching but the item seems to exceed everyone's limits.

    Suggestions and advice most welcome!

    Hi

Is there no way you can make into a smaller parcel, sorry if that sounds daft but you're right it's the size not the weight that's killing it. If it was only cms shorter each way it would go through most resellers for under a tenner.

Wow what happened to Freightsearch, just went on their website to book a UK delivery and the cheapest option coming up now is parcelforce@ £13.99 and cheapest DHL is £26.69 + vat.

Looks like something pretty serious must have happened for those prices to come into play ... so who is next best then if Freightsearch are now out of the loop??

Independent logistics or advertise on www.shiply.com if local will be cheaper.

I need to use a parcel delivery company for some items I am selling.
Unfortunately both my partner and I work long hours so are unable to wait in all day for a collection.
I’m happy to take to a local depot or something.
I can’t be the only person with this situation:confused:....any suggestions guys???

I work full time and always have my parcels collected from my work address, its no different from having it collected from home, as long as reception are expecting a collection I have never had a problem.
I have read on here that other people take their parcel to the depot but I have never done this myself.

Hi has anyone heard of lowcostparceldelivery.com?

They're giving me the best price to post a Wii Fit via FedEx and apparently offer £100 insurance in the price.

Need to arrange this in the morning so would be grateful for tips!

BaileyB had a bad experience with them recently (see post #751)

Ah yes :o I eventually found LOTS of bad reviews so i'll be staying well clear of them!! Think i'll be opting for either:

    Parcel2Go.com (with £100 cover at £2.50 extra) :-

    £10.99 Parcelforce 48
    or
    £11.99 Parcelforce 24

    Or...

    PayPerParcel.com (up to £100 apparently included) :-

    £7.30 1-3 Day (DHL 48) Economy Delivery
    or
    £10.49 1-2 Day (DHL 24) Economy Delivery

Unless any kind MSE'ers have any better ideas? :D They'd be MUCH appreciated!

    The parcel is 5.65kg; 52.7 cm x 34.3 cm x 8.13 cm
